To create a private retreat in the heart of the city, Hoerr Schaudt surrounded this city lot with an elegant brick wall and designed a series of outdoor ‘rooms’ in which to entertain, read and dine. Individual nooks set apart with inlaid brick patterns clearly define each area and create a sense of spaciousness within a narrow space.
