DHLA's continuing relationship with the Michigan Avenue Streetscape Association has resulted in a transformation of Chicago's Magnificent Mile through a seasonal succession of lavish plant displays that grace the Avenue's medians. From early spring until late autumn, pedestrians and motorists alike are treated to what can best be described as "floral abundance" in the heart of the city. Using well-known plants, such as tulips and chrysanthemums, to exotic palms, ornamental cabbages, and bold tropicals, DHLA creates a new, and often trend-setting, look for Michigan Avenue each season.
