Abby is a landscape designer out of Hoerr Schaudt’s Kansas City location with a penchant for sustainable site and city-scale design projects. Through exposure to the world of designers and architects from her dad, she was inspired to pursue a career that could create a positive sociological impact on communities by transforming outdoor spaces. She received her Master of Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University and has been heavily influenced by ethnographic research as she evaluates and designs urban space.
Since moving to Kansas City a little over three years ago, Abby has enjoyed exploring the informal street festivals in the Crossroads District and curiously wandering the old, industrial lofts filled with antiques and oddities for sale in the West Bottoms district. Abby is also an avid endurance runner, even into the cold winter months.
