Inspired by the connection that every human has to the natural environment and its ability to improve lives, Colin Brown most enjoys projects with historical, cultural, and ecological components. This gives him an opportunity to reveal the story of any given place, while allowing unique characteristics to work together to benefit both the user and native ecologies.
Originally hailing from Montana, Colin feels right at home in the outdoors surrounded by nature. He especially enjoys fly-fishing and white water rafting and, as a newcomer to Chicago, is looking forward to exploring the streams and rivers in the Midwest. Colin received a Bachelors of Science in Landscape Architecture with a concentration in Horticulture from Cornell University.
