Inspired by the intersection between horticulture, design, and art, Garrett’s approach to Landscape Architecture is interactive and dynamic. Whether it’s park, an urban plaza with integrated green infrastructure, or a revitalized streetscape, Garrett is most drawn to projects in the public realm that can be delighted by many.
Hailing from Twinsburg, Ohio (home of the world’s largest annual twin gathering), Garrett received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University. Having never previously visited the city, his opportunity to join Hoerr Schaudt brought him to Chicago. He looks forward to exploring all the city has to offer – parks, beaches, food, and live music. When he’s not working, you’ll find him outside in the sun, tending to plants, biking, or playing with his dog.
