On April 26, 2019, Kansas City Art Institute broke ground on the new Paul and Linda DeBruce Hall. Hoerr Schaudt is excited to begin the project alongside Hufft, a Kansas-based architecture group, as well as Kansas City construction company McCownGordon.

The future DeBruce Hall is an 18,000 square foot building that will house the Art History, Creative Writing, Entrepreneurial Studies, Liberal Arts and Student Services for KCAI. The project is named in honor of Linda and Paul DeBruce, benefactors of the KCAI. Construction is expected to begin late spring of 2019.
