Gracious and expansive, this suburban Chicago landscape encompasses a variety of experiences within a setting that unifies formal and naturalistic garden styles. The central focal point of the north garden is a path leading from the home’s sunroom past an octagonal fountain and gate to the pool and spa. Beyond, a native Illinois meadow area protects a wildlife walk to a nearby water source.  To the south, a small apple orchard meets a path that winds through more native meadow and opens onto an expansive lawn.
